This Highland Scots Luckenbooth Wall Plaque measures 11"L x 10.75"W x 1.5"H. This beautiful wall plaque is made of designer composite resin, hand painted and polished individually. The finish is dubbed cast bronze The Luckenbooth symbol began as a traditional Scottish wedding brooch given to the bride by the groom on their wedding day, and subsequently pinned to the shawl of the first to protect it from "evil spirits" The Luckenbooth has figures very similar to the Claddagh Ring, and a similar purpose of being a love token.
